My mom is off on an amazing adventure tomorrow! I drop my mom off bright and early at the airport to send her off to NYC! I am so excited for her it's unreal! She will be doing her yoga thing with Sadie Nardini and a group of other yogis from all of the country. She will be taking part in workshops at Kripalu Center and then head back to NYC to study at the OM Factory.
I am going to be "mom" for the next two weeks while she is gone. But I am so thankful I am home so she can take part in this great opportunity. Not only does she deserve this she works too hard to not get a lil vacation every once in a while! I'm on the other side of the gate at the airport now! Sending her off instead of me!
We have had a day of making her itinerary, packing her and getting excited! Packing a "yogi" is full of black leggings and sports bras. The best part was her looking up at me and saying, "Maybe I should pack a real bra?" I replied with, "Yes... that might be nice to take." I am also calling her the yoga ninja. I looked in her suitcase and all I saw was her 20 pairs of black leggings/pants.... I suppose she will fit in just fine with the New Yorkers.
I just took this picture posted above yesterday! I thought that quote seemed fitting for this time in our lives! She is ready and I am so ready for her! I am also a tad bit excited to meet her the last day she is there!
