Hello there!

Welcome to my blog. I document my adventures in travel, style, and food. Hope you have a nice stay!

One afternoon we decided to venture to Malbork Castle. What we had thought would be a fun quick day trip turned out to be quite the experience. The Polish transportation system is something that I am in no rush to use again. We were told that a train went straight to Malbork and that it would be about an hour and then we would be there. It took us that long to figure out how to get a ticket. I am not experienced with train transportation so trying to figure out where to be and what time was not fun. In our defense no one at the train station spoke English nor were any of the signs in any other languages except Polish. I don't ever expect everyone to know English, but that was probably one of the most frustrating experiences I have had so far as language barriers go.

But we did make it! It was well worth the hassle. I wish we could have spent more time and taken a tour (we arrived too late) but it was great finding hallways and tiny staircases on our own. Overall, it was a memorable experience! One fit for a queen!
