PARIS, MY SWEET
I still love Paris. I think I always will. After being there for a study abroad trip about two years ago I was excited to go back. However, this time was different. Last time was all about seeing as much as we could and doing all of the touristy things. I always had a camera in my hand taking pictures and woke up early to get the museums before the lines got bad. I told myself that if and when I went back I would sit and enjoy a cafe’ everyday, go to the all of parks filled with beautiful flowers and walk just as slow as the person next to me, go into more stores, and not have a camera in my hand 24/7. I still took lots pictures of course- how could you not? But I knew that I wanted to be like the rest of people just walking around and taking it all in.
I ate great food and still went to museums and to areas that I had never been to before even after living there for a month when I studied there. Paris is one of those cities that it doesn’t matter how much you visit I am pretty sure you could see something different every time you go. I understood the Metro system better this time around. Besides the fact of going 10 stops in the wrong the direction that one time... It was the first time I had been to a European city for a second time. (Besides Belgrade) Revisiting some of the places I had been to before and taking Tanja was really fun! I don’t want to forget to mention the Masculine Exposition at the Musée d'Orsay we went to. It was incredible. Oh, and my new found love for chocolate eclairs.
